CS111A Project 05: List Diagrams and List Processing - Due Tue Oct 20 at 23:00
Reading
- Slides and notebooks from the lectures on List Memory Diagrams, Mutable List Operations, and Immutable Tuples and List Processing Patterns: Double Accumulation, Mapping, and Filtering
- The memory diagram material covered in Lab 07.
- Still relevant are the slides and notebooks from the lectures on
Sequences and For Loops
and the advanced
forloop material covered in Lab 05.
About this Project
This project will give you practice with memory diagrams involings lists, as well as writing loops that create new lists, often by using the mapping and filtering patterns.
Tasks
For this project you must do both of the following tasks.
-
Task 1: List Diagrams Create list structures whose memory diagrams match those depicted in given diagrams. This is an individual task that you must do on your own.
- Task 2: Audio Toolkit Create a series of audio filter effects that you can apply to any .wav file. For this task, having a partner is optional but recommended.
How to Submit this Project
Note: Do not submit your task files until after you have reviewed the grading feedback from Project 04.
Drag and drop all of the following three files into the CS111A Gradescope Project05 assignment.
